Hey there!
If you have any old books or dictionaries that you don't want to use, this tutorial will be great for you! I'll be showing you how to turn those pages into a book for anything you please.
What You'll Need:
+Torn pages from an old book or dictionary
+Scissors
+String
+Sewing Needle
1// Tear a few pages out of your old book or dictionary. If you want to cut off the rough edges, you can.
2// Collect your sewing essentials which is a string of some sort and a sewing needle.
3// Layer your papers on top of each other. If you want to make the book smaller with more pages, fold it in half which is what I'm doing.
4// To hold the pages together, whip stitch the pages together. To whip stitch, first poke the string through side A's corner. Then go back to Side A and poke another hole. It is shown below.
5// Keep sewing until you get to the other corner. Don't forget to tie the ends into a knot so that the strings don't get caught.
I hope you made your book without any trouble! I think it would be really cute to paint watercolors in it or it could be used as a fabulous scrapbook!
Here are a few ideas before you go:
